Danger Dogs!

JD - We've just got back from a lovely evening at the beach....

Max - "Gotta run, gotta run, gotta run.....!"

Max - ....I ran and ran all the way to the beach there from the car!!

Max - "Wait for me sea - I'm coming, I'm coming!!"

JD - We LOVE the beach! We couldn't wait to get down there....

JD - "Hurry UP Max, I can see the sea!"

Max - We thought we would try our paws at stressing our humans by venturing a bit closer to the edge than was strictly necessary!!

Max - "What does that sign say JD?"
JD - "Um - 'do not climb on rocks' - I have NO idea what that means Max!"

Max - "Ooooh - now I can see the sea too!!"
JD - "Come on Max - let's get DOWN there!!"

JD - We're secretly hoping that beautiful Sasha will see these photos and be impressed with how daring and brave we are......*blush!*

JD tries his paw at balancing really close to the edge, just to freak the humans out a little bit more....!

Max - ....because really - we were simply showing off for her!! *double blush!*

Mirror Image Monday!

JD - We've been aware for a little while that we look a bit like Norwood.

Max - The eyebrows! The handsomeness!

JD - So when our humans finally got us some snazzy bandannas....

Max - ....we wanted to boast about this similarity to EVERYONE!!

JD - How do I look? Can I carry off the green look?

JD shows how he was inspired by mother nature to choose a green bandanna!!

Max - I stayed with red - it's simply me. To me it says 'alpha doggie' and I like that statement!

The boys try out their best 'catalogue' pose! Sniff that brick Max! Stare into the distance JD! He he he!

JD - Yeah, whatever Max!

Max - Hey - I like my last photo the best!

JD- But Max, you can't see your bandanna in it....

Max - I know - but I think my expression is pure 'Norwood!' The eyebrows, the smile, the cute pose!

Max - "Hi - I'm Norwood! He he he!"

JD - He he he, yup, it sure is!

Santa - gorgeous bandanna Santa. Pink is most definitely your colour - you look lovely and we really like the bunny eared knot to keep it in place - stylin'!!

JD - For our Pet Pride post today we thought we'd tell a little bit more about ourselves.

Max - Even though we are brothers who are the same age and from the same litter, we are very, very different!

JD - We love being brothers - but we also embrace our differences.

Snuggle-buddy brothers!

Max - Yup - I'm the handsome one!! He he he!

JD - *Rolls eyes!* ANYWAY - our humans think we really suit our names. Max likes to push everything 'to the Max' as he constantly and tirelessly tries to see what he can get away with, such as digging in the garden....

Pawprints on the curtains - hmmm, suspicious!

Max - Hey - those muddy pawprints prove nothing! They could have been left by anyone - even you!

JD - ....and barking manically at chickens whilst I simply saunter casually on by....

Max - "You lookin' at me?! Hey, Mr Chicken - you lookin' at ME?!!"

Max - Well, they smelt tasty!

JD - ....and never going to bed by yourself by pretending you're always too tired to even move so our male human ALWAYS picks you up and puts you to bed himself....

Max - "Yes - I KNOW I was running around like a demented puppy just 5 seconds ago, but now that you've said the phrase 'in your box' I suddenly find myself completely overcome with exhaustion!"

Max - Well, I like to be tucked in, he he he! Anyway YOU, my dear brother, also suit your name down to the ground! You are the most laid back puppy I have ever met! Do you know the other dogs down the park refer to you as 'the hippy' as you never let ANYTHING phase you and you can never even be bothered to bark? You enjoy kicking back....

JD - "Human, this floor needs a sweep - I'm getting dust on my woozle!"

JD - ....well, a pup has to conserve his energy you know.

Max - ....and kicking back some more....

JD - "Snuffle - zzzzzzz.......!"

JD - It IS important to get your 16 hours a day you know Max!

Max - ....and then kicking back even more!

JD - "What do you mean I'm in the way lying here? I'm afraid I simply don't understand....!"

JD - Well - blame my humans, THEY'RE the ones who christened me 'Just Dog' - I'm only trying to fulfil their expectations!

Max - He he he! So, as you can see, we do have very different personalities. Our humans sometimes refer to us as 'naughty and nice'.

JD - Can you guess from the photo below which one of us is naughty and which one of us is nice?!

Max - "Come on up JD - I DARE you!" JD - "No Max, the humans said we're not allowed on the furniture!"

JD - We're having a great day today!

Max - Our female human took the day off work which meant we got to go for a walk a bit later than usual so we met up with a lot of our pals at the park.

JD - Here are some more photos of 'the Pied Piper of Holland Park' - he he he! Otherwise known as M, our lovely treat lady!

"Now, who ordered the turkey with cranberry treat...?!"

Max - We know we've shown a photo of her before, but we wanted to show you some more because we really love M!

"Last one to sit doesn't get any!!!"

JD - Loads of our pals were at the park today. We met up with our wonderful spaniel pal Archie. We love Archie - he's always so smiley!

Archie takes a short respite from playing ball!

Max - And here's Harry having a lovely roll. Ahhh - there's no better way to get those itches off your back is there?

"Ahhhhhhh......lovely!!"

JD - This is Scottie supervising me as we investigate a big twig.

"Hmmm, I believe several other doggies have played with this twig before us Scottie....!"

Max - Scottie is the boss of our little gang and if any pup puts a paw out of place he lets us know he's not happy about it, he he he!

JD - Scottie is great - he's taught us some good lessons on puppy manners.

Max - Here's Stig - sometimes known as Stiglett! - who is a Jack Russell puppy and is a couple of months younger than us.

"Halt! Who goes there?"

JD - Stig is a very confident puppy! He lives with his big brother Neo and big sister Ellie.

Archie and Stig catch up!

Max - Our humans only managed to get a photo of Ellie's bottom we're afraid - sorry 'bout that!

Ellie (far right) keeps an eye on little brother Stig, whos's just saying hello to Harry!

JD - Stig's big brother Neo adores tennis balls.

Max - His human says he is 'tennis ball obsessed' - he he he!

"Of COURSE I can fit two tennis balls in my mouth at the same time!"

JD - And then there's Pippa....

Max - Pippa - *sigh!*

JD - Max has got it pretty bad for Pippa.

Max gives Pippa a playful puppy nip on the bottom - he's such a tease!

Max - Pippa is sooo pretty. And soooo intelligent! And she's soooo good at zoomies, and Pippa is.....

Pippa shows the boys she can hold her own in ANY game of zoomies!

JD - See what I mean? Pippa dawdles a bit when she's out walking and Max just sits and stares mournfully after her. He refuses to continue with the walk unless Pippa's there, as you can see below (Pippa is the tiny spot in the distance!!)....

Max waits patiently for his girl......

Max - Pippa - *sigh!*

JD - We had hoped to get a photo of Charlie, our Great Dane pal.

Max - But sadly he never seems to be there when our human takes her camera with her. We'll get a snapshot one day!

JD - Anyway, something very exciting did happen on today's walk - we met a new friend!

Max - Here he is - isn't he cute?

"Hello, hello! May I join you?!"

JD - He's a Huskie puppy called Ty and is only 11 weeks old!

"Pleased to meet you! I'm Max and this is Pippa!"

Max - We were all amazed at how well behaved he was, especially since he is SO young!

Ty and Max get acquainted!

JD - This was one of his first walkies ever - we were thrilled to be able to share it with him!!

"Hello young pup! I'm Scottie and I think you'll find that I'm in charge around here!"

Max - We hope we meet him again soon!

JD - It's been a great day so far - we're off for a nap now though....

Max - Yup! We're both a bit tired after all that excitement....!
