The luckiest pups in the World!

JD - We are - without a doubt - the LUCKIEST puppies in the whole wide World!

Max - We really are! And it's all because of our wonderful blogging pals in Malaysia who have thoroughly, totally and utterly spoiled us rotten by sending our humans back home with oodles and oodles of amazing gifts for us!

JD - It's been like Christmas every single day since our humans got back from holiday! We've been trying out a new treat or playing with a new toy every day - it's been amazing!

Max - FH took LOADS of great photos of us....

JD - ....and then realised she'd forgotten to put the memory card back in the camera after her last download - arghhhh! You see what we have to put up with?!

Max - She's now rectified her omission, so FINALLY we can get to show you all our great loot!

JD - "I pose with our new stuffie bone and one of our new stuffie balls. These wonderful toys were hand-crafted especially for us by Santa, Minnie and Christmas's Aunty Diana! She's so clever and talented - we love our new stuffies!"

JD - "Oooh, what's this that's just landed on my paws? Hmmm, looks like a fun rope Frisbee....!"

Max - "That Frisbee looks like fun! It's from Fatty and Ally. Let me try it out....hmmm, yes, it's robust and good to chew...."

Max - "....as you can see! *Chomp!* *Chomp!*"

JD - "Next up is a great squeaky branch from Santa, Minnie and Christmas. Oh, I DO like a squeaky toy! *Chew!* *Squeak!*"
Max - "And I concentrate on a rope bone from Fatty and Ally - a pup can spend a happy hour chewing on a rope bone you know!"

JD - *Contented chomp!*
Max - *Contented chew!*

JD - "We got some great stuffies from Cobi! There's a penguin and a turtle...."
Max - ".....ohhh, I like this turtle!"

JD - "Er - so I see Max! Anyway, these stuffies come with squeaky eggs that can be hidden inside them so they're really fun to play with!"
Max - "Oooh, I wonder if I can find the squeaky eggs quicker than you JD, he he he?!"

Max - "Stop toying with me FH and hand over that squeaky bone and the ball and rope toy from Fatty and Ally!"

BoldJD - "Wow! Look at this Max! Aunty Diana made us our very own dinosaur!"
Max - "I'm SO excited about this JD! Dinosaur is one of Minnie's favourite toys - I can't believe we've now got one too!"

Max - "And look JD - a stuffie bear and a stuffie bunny from Fatty and Ally!"
JD - "Oooh, they look wonderfully tasty Max!"

Max - "Hey, HEY! FH - what are you doing?! Give me back the bunny! Give me back the bear! They're not yours!"

JD - "Max, what's going on? Why has FH put our new bunny, dinosaur and bear out of our reach?"
Max - "I'm not sure JD. FH - we DEMAND answers!"
FH - "Lads - you're prolific chewers and these 3 stuffies are SO cute. I think they'd look much better on my desk at work...."
JD - "That is like SO UNFAIR FH! We know for a fact our pals didn't chose these items for you!"
Max - "Yeah - sob! Tell her everyone, tell her they're OUR toys, not HERS!!"

FH - "Er, let's see if I can distract you with this! Look JD - Santa, Minnie and Christmas sent you some doggie after-shave!"
JD - "*Sniff, sniff!* Oooh, smells really good! One squiff of this and the ladies will be putty in my paws, mwhahahaha!!"

JD - "And then - then there are the treats!!"
Max - "Look - just LOOK at all these treats!! Are you drooling on the keyboard yet?! We are!!"

JD - "Let's have another look at it all, at a slightly different angle!"
Max - "FH has quipped that she'll never have to buy us treats ever again. FH is very cruel...."

JD - "There are SO many good treats! Here's us posing with a pack of cheese sprinkles from Fatty and Ally. They sent us a few packs of this!"
Max - "We can sprinkle it on our kibble, like our humans do with their pasta! Super-yum!"

JD - "*Sniff, sniff!* Another treat from Fatty and Ally! Special doggie jellies - *drool!*"
Max - "These are really yummy, we've already tried them!"

JD - "We now have the best-est treat cupboard in the universe! So, what would I do for one of our new yumy treats? Well, I would sit real nice like a good boy...."

JD - "....I'd do a good 'down' to show what a polite boy I am...."

JD - "....and I'd even do a controlled 'beg' if a new foodable was to be forthcoming!"

Max - "Hmmm, I can't let my big bro' look like he's better trained than me. So - er - I'd do a 'roll over' for one of our new treats! Beat THAT JD, he he he!"

JD - "One of our favourite treats is a huge pot of milk drops from Fatty and Ally, they're so crunchy and yummy!"
Max - "Oooh, if only we had thumbs JD, we could open the pot and be munching them right now....!
JD - "Well, there's only one thing left for us to do now then Max...."

JD - "....and that's to say a huge 'thank you' to Santa, Minnie, Christmas, Fatty, Ally, Cobi and your wonderful, wonderful humans for ALL the great gifts you sent back for us!

Max - Everything is fantastic - we love it all and we love you all too! As we said - we're the luckiest puppies in the whole wide World!

JD - We are little bro', we really are!

Packing, praying and parcels from Australia!

JD - Hi everyone - we've had SUCH a busy week!

Max - We apologise for not getting round to visit your blogs as much as we would like but we've been really busy supervising our humans....

JD - .... as they're off on holiday AGAIN next week you see - sigh! They're always abandoning us to gad about around the World, we're practically neglected you know!

Max - Mind you, the exciting thing about THIS particular holiday of theirs is that they're going to meet loads of our good blog friends in pupson, namely Fatty and Ally and Santa and Minnie and Christmas and Beckham and Cobi - how thrilling is THAT?!

JD - They're SO excited - they can't wait!

Max - So we have obviously been taking their holiday packing VERY seriously as we want to make sure they don't forget to pack any of the little gifts that we have chosen for our pals!

"No, honest we're not napping - we're making sure our humans are putting all the right things into their suitcases!"

JD - We're really going to miss our humans whilst they're away, but we do enjoy our stays at the kennels as we get rather spoiled!

Max - And we know that getting to cuddle our pals will help our humans feel better whilst they're away. But we DO wish we could go with them to meet all our blog pals in pupson too.

"If we lie here long enough maybe our humans will pack us as well.....?!"

JD - They fly out on Wednesday so this will be our last post for a couple of weeks. Our humans usually take their netbook with them on holiday but this time they're going to really take 'time out' so will be leaving it at home!

Max - We're going to miss you whilst we're away - we'll try and visit your blogs before we go!

JD - But please visit our pals' blogs if you get a chance - you never know, you might get to hear what our humans have got up to before we find out about it ourselves!!

Max - Other exciting news is that we got a parcel on Friday all the way from Australia!

JD - We were very excited and set about opening it up at once....

"Oooh, this is SO exciting!"

Max - I finally manged to break through!

"Right - that's got it! Don't worry JD - I've torn through, we're in!"

JD - We were very excited to see that there was an item for each of us - we were keen to find out what they were!

"OURS we think you'll find female human - so please pass it over, thank you VERY much!"

Max - Well! Look at this! Spectacular new collars - we could hardly believe our eyes!

JD - A lovely letter inside the parcel explained that our beautiful blog pal Honey had chosen them for us. Thank you so much Honey - we love them!

Max - Each collar is made of leather, each has a personalised engraved name plaque plus manly studs!

"We're afraid female human isn't a great photographer - this really does not do these beautiful collars justice. They're soft and comfortable - and the studs are SO manly! And we can't get over the fact that each of our names are engraved on a little plaque - white for Max and blue for JD - just wonderful!"

JD - Honey explained that she remembered the difficulty that we had experienced trying to find manly collars for the smaller doggie - we find that the smaller collar is usually a bit too girly in design for us.

Max - And as we're such butch doggies we were getting a bit frustrated by this, he he he! Well, the gorgeous Honey remembered this so when she saw these smaller collars in leather with manly studs on she thought of us!

JD - Isn't that just wonderful? Honey, you are so kind and generous! Thank you so much - they fit perfectly and we LOVE them - we've been strutting around in them and expect to get a lot of attention from the ladies as a result, he he he!

Max - As it's still Winter here though FH has told us we must keep our collars 'for best' until it's no longer wet and muddy outside.

JD - We want to keep our collars looking nice so we've happily agreed.

"We pose in our new collars. As it's Winter our coats are rather shaggy so sadly you can not see the collars too well - it might help if you biggify the picture. We think we look SO fine!"

Max - Before we leave we would just like to send love and hugs out to our blog pal Max and his mom who - as we're sure you all know - is going through a tough time at the moment.

JD - Dear Max, we think you're an amazing doggie and we're so pleased we've got to know you through the world of blogging. We just want to send you special schnauzer snuggles and let you know that we're thinking of you.

Max - So, we'll see you all in a couple of weeks. What we're planning on doing whilst our humans are away enjoying themselves is a whole lot of this....

"Ahhh, peace and quiet at last without the humans! All they ever do is walk us and train us and try to find 'new experiences' for us - sheesh! When can a puppy ever find time to relax and kick-back ...... zzzZZZZ"

JD - We'll see you all soon!

Being abandoned!!

JD - Hi everyone! This weekend is the half marathon in Spain that female human wanted to take part in.

Max - Unfortunately though, she didn't start training early enough, so she had to content herself with waving her pals off whilst she stayed home with us.

JD - We admit we were secretly pleased she didn't go. BUT we still want to report that she IS nevertheless in training for a local half marathon in May....

Max - ....AND she's even mentioned the possibility of a full marathon at the end of the year! Although she says she'll wait and see how she feels after the half in May before fully committing, he he he!

JD - However, this state of affairs does mean that recently she OFTEN goes out of the house WITHOUT us now!!

Max - Yes - it's shocking - SHOCKING!!

"Noooo, FH, DON'T go, DON'T leave us!!!"

JD - We know that she has to leave us to go to work (to ensure she can continue to afford doggie biscuits and treats to keep us in the manner to which we have become accustomed!!), but we REALLY didn't think she'd start to abandon us for other reasons.

Max - We TRY make her stay - we drape ourselves across her and put on our extra sad faces , but she must have a heart of STONE as she simply tells us to be good boys for male human - and then gads off anyway!

JD - "Try 'the drape' Max! If we pin her down she won't be able to abandon us!"
Max - "Good thinking bro! I'm also putting on my extra-sad face too....."

JD - What IS a puppy to do?!

Max - Oh, by the way - well done to all of you who guessed correctly on our 'guess the schnauzer' game that it was MY cute snooter poking through the blanket!

JD - I especially liked the wolfies recognising the fact that I'm just a few millimetres shorter than they are (*puffs up chest!*) by their comment that if it was ME wrapped up then the lump would be LOADS bigger....

Max - Hey - you're not THAT much bigger than me JD!

Easy like Sunday morning....

JD - The snow has gone...

Max - ....and this morning there was a break in the rain!

JD - So female human took us to the nature reserve really early.

Max - We had a wonderful long, long walk - we chased, we romped, we explored and we even paddled in the sea!

JD - Here's a photo of us wending our way back with female human, tired and happy - and witnessing a spectacular sunrise.

Max - Ahhhh - Sundays don't start much better than this!

JD - We hope you've all had a great weekend too!

Pet Pride - tag, you're it!!

JD - Hello everyone - happy Pet Pride!

Max - Pet Pride is our favourite meme and is wonderfully hosted by Bozo - please go over and check out all the fun!

JD - For our Pet Pride entry this week we want to share with you one of our favourite games - it would appear to also be a pass time that our first love, the beautiful Sasha, also enjoys.

Max - We love playing in the long grass - sure, it means we have to have our paws checked out and have a thorough brush after each walk, but we feel it is well worth it!

JD - Look - here is a photo that the gorgeous Sasha posted last week of her making her way through the grasses....

Max - ....and here is a photo of JD doing the same! It could almost be the same field couldn't it? We like to imagine that when we're playing Sasha will suddenly appear out of the grasses and the three of us will have so much fun romping around together!

JD - We so love to play chase - and our humans really enjoy watching us having fun too, so it's 'win-win' all round!

Max - Often we'll start our game with a 'face-off'!!

JD - And then the chasing begins!!

Max - Can't catch me, can't catch me!

JD - Wheeeee!

JD - Hmm, where's Max gone, I can't see him....

JD - Hey - where did the long grass go?!

JD - Ah, here it is - that's better.....wheeeeee!!

Max - He he he - I've broken cover, gotta find the long grass again....

Max - Hey - neat! I've found a stick! Hope female human doesn't see me or she'll take it off me.....*chew, chew!*

JD - I'm rather proud of this next photo! Unfortunately we haven't been able to edit it so it's a bit small, but I love how I appear to have just levitated out of the grass, he he he!

JD - Phew, that was an exhausting game of chase, time for a pit-stop I feel!

Max - *Slurp, slurp, slurp!!
*
