We heart Cesar Millan!

JD - Zzzzzzz.....

Max - JD! JD! Wake UP!

JD - Eh, whassat Max - *yawn!*

Max - You're jet-lagged again bro' - you been jetting off over that pond again?

JD - Well, you know how it is Max. Now that I'm a member of Cesar Millan's pack I need to split my time between here and the US....

JD gets a cuddle from Cesar's eldest son (left).....

Max - Wow!

JD - He he - not really! Our humans went gadding off to the O2 again last night....

Max - ....but this time we didn't mind as they were off to attend a seminar given by our hero - the amazing Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan. In the programme was a great photo with the family and some of their pack members, one of them being a JD look-alike!

Cesar and Daddy - you can see the adoration in Cesar's eyes!

JD - We 'heart' Cesar Millan! After all, he trains humans and not dogs - quite right too, some of you humans could use a bit more training if you don't me saying, he he he!

Max - Yeah - we know you're simple creatures but really, with a bit of application and reinforcement we're sure that some of you could learn a few simple tricks in time - snigger!

JD - The humans really loved the seminar and said that they learned a lot.

Max - Sadly, Cesar's lovely right-hand-dog, Daddy, went to the Rainbow Bridge on 19th February and Cesar did get quite emotional about this at one point, meaning the show had to cut to a video section.

JD - Anyway, the human's enjoyed the show BUT not so much their journey home from London.

Max - They got to Stratford station - where everything will be happening in 2012 for the Olympics! - to find that 10 minutes earlier someone had flung themselves under a train meaning that, because it was so late at night, ALL remaining trains for the night were cancelled!

JD - They were stranded, with a 70 mile journey to make back home - yikes! We'd had a lovely puppy-sitter earlier in the evening but were now waiting for them home-alone so they knew they had to get back to us. It cost them a £120 taxi fares to get home - there was no other option for them. Wow - that was an expensive evening!

Max - FH bought herself a nice t-shirt from the show.....

JD - *Sniff! Sniff!* "Hmm, I'm sure I can smell Cesar on this....!

JD - ....and she also bought a lovely 'pack-leader' t-shirt for me! Look, isn't it lovely...

JD - "Oh yes, this is super-comfy!!"

FH - Er - JD.....

JD - "But don't you think it suits me FH?!!"

JD - Yes FH?

FH - Uh - oh, nothing......

JD - Thought not, he he he!

Max - Before we sign-off we just want to mention - you remember the cheese sprinkles that our good pals Fatty and Ally got for us....

JD - Well, they are SUPER nummy! Here are a few snapshots of us eating a kibble snack with cheese sprinkles!

We wait expectantly by the pack of cheesy sprinkles!

And the sprinkled kibble is served - nom nom nom!

Nom nom nom!!

NOM NOM NOM!!

Max - Thank you Fatty and Ally - we love the cheese sprinkles!

The splorin' schnauzies!!

JD - Well! We are quite beside ourselves!

Max - This morning the postman arrived with a parcel for us - how exciting!

JD - Who could it be from? What new and exciting surprise had been sent to us? We couldn't wait to find out....

Max - So we quickly ripped the parcel open (so quickly that FH couldn't get the camera out in time, he he he!) and were delighted to find some wonderful pressies from our good pals, the 'Splorin' Wolfies!

JD - They sent us a book - 'Dog Joy' - which features the handsome Guinness. In fact, Guinness is the cover model!

Max - "Look at the size of Guinness's smile JD!"
JD - "Yeah - he's making us look a bit grumpy Max, he he he!"

Max - "Guinness is a great cover model - shall we have a look a the rest of the book JD?"
JD - "Great thinking Max - could you turn the pages please.....?"

Max - "Sure bro'! Hey, look at this - Guinness has signed the book for us JD!"
JD - "Oh wow, how keewwll is that?!"

The cover model modestly signed the book AND sent us a lock of his hair - how wonderful!

Page 45 is pure Guinness - he likes to laugh at his own jokes! This is such a fantastic photo, Guinness, you are one handsome and happy dude!

Max - The wolfies also sent a really special keyring for female human. Here it is - she didn't manage to get a good photo of it, but she loves the keyring!

Cute keyring - it's really cool!

JD - It has 6 charms which are really cute and one of the charms is a schnauzer - it's amazing! You can just about make out the schnauzer in the photo below....

Bit blurred but you can just make out the schnauzer - FH LOVES it!!

Max - So, in honour of our great and generous wolfie pals we dedicate this 'splorin' post to them!

JD - Yup - we wanted to take you on one of our very own 'splorin' adventures! So, please join us for our morning walk, as we watch the sun-rise over the sea....

When we got to the beach the sun was just starting to rise over the sea this morning - isn't it pretty?

We were eager to get down on the beach!

The tide was out this morning so we got to investigate the big rocks that are usually under the sea!

JD "*Sniff! Sniff!* Hmm, the seaweed smells a bit fishy over here Max!"
Max - "Great, thanks JD - I'll be over for a taste right now!"

JD and Max strike a handsome silhouette against the horizon. If you biggify the picture you can see the wind-farm that is sited off our coast.

JD - "Female human was very pleased at this photo - the sunrise really was spectacular this morning...."

JD - "....but I knew that a puppy romping through would make the photo EVEN better!"

With the sun fully over the yard arm the boys turn their attentions to the very serious matter of a game of chase!

JD investigates some rocks.

FH found this bottle buried in the sand and took a snapshot. She was intrigued by the wording on it - "To buy or sell this bottle is illegal". How strange. Um, sort of leaves stealing it as the only legal option then, he he he! She wonders what it used to hold....

Max has a good sniff along the sea defenses....

....and JD perfects his 'kindly direct that flashy box in a different direction' glare at FH!

The boys run along the beach. You can see Clacton Pier on the left of this photo and at the top of the photo are the gardens that run along most of the sea-front. This is the beach that is a stone's throw from our front-door. Sadly, it's not open to dogs from May to September, but we still have 2 whole months to enjoy it!

JD poses next to the rocks with the pier as a rather nice backdrop!

The boys finish their morning 'splorin' session with a mad dash round the rocks - JD is having so much fun he has become a blur!!

Max - We hope you all enjoyed our little 'splorin' adventure today!

JD - Yup, it was great fun to post about it. Thank you SO much for your wonderful gifts Guinness and Saige and Groucho and your kind and generous humans. You're the best!!

The luckiest pups in the World!

JD - We are - without a doubt - the LUCKIEST puppies in the whole wide World!

Max - We really are! And it's all because of our wonderful blogging pals in Malaysia who have thoroughly, totally and utterly spoiled us rotten by sending our humans back home with oodles and oodles of amazing gifts for us!

JD - It's been like Christmas every single day since our humans got back from holiday! We've been trying out a new treat or playing with a new toy every day - it's been amazing!

Max - FH took LOADS of great photos of us....

JD - ....and then realised she'd forgotten to put the memory card back in the camera after her last download - arghhhh! You see what we have to put up with?!

Max - She's now rectified her omission, so FINALLY we can get to show you all our great loot!

JD - "I pose with our new stuffie bone and one of our new stuffie balls. These wonderful toys were hand-crafted especially for us by Santa, Minnie and Christmas's Aunty Diana! She's so clever and talented - we love our new stuffies!"

JD - "Oooh, what's this that's just landed on my paws? Hmmm, looks like a fun rope Frisbee....!"

Max - "That Frisbee looks like fun! It's from Fatty and Ally. Let me try it out....hmmm, yes, it's robust and good to chew...."

Max - "....as you can see! *Chomp!* *Chomp!*"

JD - "Next up is a great squeaky branch from Santa, Minnie and Christmas. Oh, I DO like a squeaky toy! *Chew!* *Squeak!*"
Max - "And I concentrate on a rope bone from Fatty and Ally - a pup can spend a happy hour chewing on a rope bone you know!"

JD - *Contented chomp!*
Max - *Contented chew!*

JD - "We got some great stuffies from Cobi! There's a penguin and a turtle...."
Max - ".....ohhh, I like this turtle!"

JD - "Er - so I see Max! Anyway, these stuffies come with squeaky eggs that can be hidden inside them so they're really fun to play with!"
Max - "Oooh, I wonder if I can find the squeaky eggs quicker than you JD, he he he?!"

Max - "Stop toying with me FH and hand over that squeaky bone and the ball and rope toy from Fatty and Ally!"

BoldJD - "Wow! Look at this Max! Aunty Diana made us our very own dinosaur!"
Max - "I'm SO excited about this JD! Dinosaur is one of Minnie's favourite toys - I can't believe we've now got one too!"

Max - "And look JD - a stuffie bear and a stuffie bunny from Fatty and Ally!"
JD - "Oooh, they look wonderfully tasty Max!"

Max - "Hey, HEY! FH - what are you doing?! Give me back the bunny! Give me back the bear! They're not yours!"

JD - "Max, what's going on? Why has FH put our new bunny, dinosaur and bear out of our reach?"
Max - "I'm not sure JD. FH - we DEMAND answers!"
FH - "Lads - you're prolific chewers and these 3 stuffies are SO cute. I think they'd look much better on my desk at work...."
JD - "That is like SO UNFAIR FH! We know for a fact our pals didn't chose these items for you!"
Max - "Yeah - sob! Tell her everyone, tell her they're OUR toys, not HERS!!"

FH - "Er, let's see if I can distract you with this! Look JD - Santa, Minnie and Christmas sent you some doggie after-shave!"
JD - "*Sniff, sniff!* Oooh, smells really good! One squiff of this and the ladies will be putty in my paws, mwhahahaha!!"

JD - "And then - then there are the treats!!"
Max - "Look - just LOOK at all these treats!! Are you drooling on the keyboard yet?! We are!!"

JD - "Let's have another look at it all, at a slightly different angle!"
Max - "FH has quipped that she'll never have to buy us treats ever again. FH is very cruel...."

JD - "There are SO many good treats! Here's us posing with a pack of cheese sprinkles from Fatty and Ally. They sent us a few packs of this!"
Max - "We can sprinkle it on our kibble, like our humans do with their pasta! Super-yum!"

JD - "*Sniff, sniff!* Another treat from Fatty and Ally! Special doggie jellies - *drool!*"
Max - "These are really yummy, we've already tried them!"

JD - "We now have the best-est treat cupboard in the universe! So, what would I do for one of our new yumy treats? Well, I would sit real nice like a good boy...."

JD - "....I'd do a good 'down' to show what a polite boy I am...."

JD - "....and I'd even do a controlled 'beg' if a new foodable was to be forthcoming!"

Max - "Hmmm, I can't let my big bro' look like he's better trained than me. So - er - I'd do a 'roll over' for one of our new treats! Beat THAT JD, he he he!"

JD - "One of our favourite treats is a huge pot of milk drops from Fatty and Ally, they're so crunchy and yummy!"
Max - "Oooh, if only we had thumbs JD, we could open the pot and be munching them right now....!
JD - "Well, there's only one thing left for us to do now then Max...."

JD - "....and that's to say a huge 'thank you' to Santa, Minnie, Christmas, Fatty, Ally, Cobi and your wonderful, wonderful humans for ALL the great gifts you sent back for us!

Max - Everything is fantastic - we love it all and we love you all too! As we said - we're the luckiest puppies in the whole wide World!

JD - We are little bro', we really are!
