(Almost!) Wordless Wednesday - Beach Bums!

(FH says there's something about this photo of us that she just loves! She thinks it sums up the 'endless, enjoyable days of summer'. Something about the wistful way we're looking back at the sea and the emptiness and tranquillity of the beach.

In reality the beach is empty because this photo was taken at approximately 4.45 am one morning - FH is taking us out for a nice long walk extra early at the moment because the days are getting SO hot. Although this photo shows just the two of us we're nevertheless delighted that we still meet up with pals at this time of the morning - lots of like-minded doggie owners 'out-and-about' helping their hounds keep cool with an early walk!)

WOW, you get up at 4.45am in the morning for walkies??!! Awesome! At 4.45am in Malaysia, it's still pitch dark, so we're still in slumberland...heh! LOVED that photo of you two *grins*

First of all, that is a wonderful photo. You live in such a beautiful area! I've never even been to a beach before.
Secondly, if anyone at my house tried to get me up that early I would be showing some teefers and burrowing further down in the covers!

We LOVE those early morning walks....even though we don't live near a beach. BUT it's not getting light until 7 a.m. at the moment, so we have to WAIT! Something about black dogs on black leads in the dark.

Wow, that is early there! It must be so peaceful at that hour. You're lucky to live so close to the beach so you can enjoy it when you want. Enjoy your morning walks!

4:45AM IN THE MORNING??!!!! Gosh - I could never wake up that time myself, never mind my human! (Sometimes when Paul is away and she is being naughty and having a late night, that's not far off when she finally goes to sleep!) - YOu have a very dedicated human, Max & JD!

We LOVES the beach!! We have to drive about 18085 hours to get there though. We can't just get mom up at 4:45 and trot over to the beach - you are lucky boys! It's not quite that light out here for another 30 or 40 minutes. I guess that shows you how much further west we are! Did you go for a swim? Or just take a drink?

Phoenix agrees with Twix. She's doesn't like to face the day until at LEAST 9 or 10 in the morning. And she's the youngest one of us! BOL!

That IS one wonderful photo - speaks volumes. If we lived near the beach, Mom says we would be there early too. As it is, we usually get our walks at night now that the Kansas heat and humidity are here. Enjoy.

Wow, it's so bright at 4.45am. I only get my morning walk at 6am and pawrents are already "grumbling" abt waking up so early even on weekend.

I should show them how hardworking your Mummy is ^^

We concur with FH, a most magical picture of you both.

We called my dad person over to see your blog, since he is usually not around, but he is on vacation this week. He was very impressed with you both.

He wanted me to ask you a somewhat rude question, but I guess I will. He used to have a black lab named Buddy & when he took Buddy to the ocean in California he ended up accidentally swallowing enough of the salt water that it made poo shoot out of his butt in mad squirts! My dad person was hoping you don't have that happen to you as, obviously it seems that it would be most unpleasant.

Apologies to FH if she's eating or anything whilst reading this.

Ta for now!
