Camera Critters!

JD - Hello everyone! For Camera Critters today we thought we'd post a couple of photos of some of the other critters we met on last night's walk!

Max - Here's a rather cocky seagull - he just stayed where he was and stared out to sea no matter how sternly I barked at him!!

Seagull - "Where's all that woofing coming from? All I can see is the sea.....!"

JD - And then a little bit further down the beach our female human was rather startled to come face to face with this chap....!

Fish - ".....!"

Max - He didn't say much because he was rather - erm - dead!

JD - A fisherman a bit further on explained to our human that these fish were caught via fishing lines that were left out overnight, trapping the fish when the tide went out. But the larger fish would be left behind because apparently they are not as tasty...

Max - Yikes! Poor fish! But we couldn't leave you without a photo of us too! He he he - here's us having a slight dispute over stick ownership.....

"Give it! It's mine!" "No, I think you'll find it's MINE!" "No, s'mine, I saw it first....!"

JD - Before we sign out we'd just like to say that we're really excited as - being such wonderful puppies! - we've been tagged in a game AND we've won a couple of awards! Wowie! We'll do a post for all of this soon!!

Max - Have a happy weekend everyone!

Find out what all the critters are up to at....

Maybe that seagull is waiting for a fish to swim in so he gets his meal. Great to see the two of you having fun...

JD and Max, thank you. It was fun to walk with you. I like gulls, but think I could without the dead fish!

Hi JD and Max - I'm going to see that poor fish's bulging eyes every time I shut mine now! How sad that they're just left there. Nice sea shot with the gull and the two of you arguing over the stick....chill guys! It's just a stick! :) Nemo.

JD&MAX...THANKS FOR THOSE WONDERFUL PICTURES!
We live so far away from the beach. In fact, us dogs have never seen the sea! So it was really super to be able to accompany you on your walk - being able to see the seagulls, the fish and the sand....mmmmm!
You guys are really cute!

Molly always loves HER walks at the beach and finds interesting things to share too. Unfortunately I'm not as good about carrying my camera when I take her there, but perhaps I should. You two sure have fun adventures together ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Shalom JD and Max. Wish I could have walked with you and seen those animals. We don't have any sea in Jerusalem.
And yes, my grandsons would love to play with you too. Glad to hear you like human pups.

Dear Max and JD,

Your stick dispute looks like wonderful fun! Being an only dawgy I have to be content to dispute with myself; which is not nearly as fun, or dynamic, unfortunately.

Gosh a dead fish! Did you want to eat it?
I have been eating quite a few fish oil cap shools lately, and they are most pungently delicious!

Oh my goodness, I would have been terrified if I saw that fish! What a big gaping mouth!! But poor thing - I do think it is a bit unfair that he had to be caught if they weren't even going to use him!!

What an exciting story about your humans' elopement! Hsin-Yi says that sometimes she had felt like doing that too coz it was getting so stressful organsing the wedding and trying to please everybody! Your human is right - it is so important to do things the way you want and not just satisfy all the bossy aunts and other relatives! :-) And hey! Did your human get married at 23 too? That's another thing she has in commmon with my human! How many years have your humans been mates now for then?

I don't blame your female human for being startled by the dead fish. Don't you think some humans are incredibly wasteful?

Looks like a fun walk on the beach. I would be a bit surprised too, to come up on that big fish.
