Max - We're not supposed to go on to the humans furniture unless it's on top of one of their laps. So I asked them - what harm could a little puppy like me do, hmmm? A tiny, cute little puppy like me, who earlier today was feeling very, very tired....
Max - ....sooo, so tired.....snuffle.....! Mmmmm, that's some good, soft, cushiony comfort right there - sigh....! Mumfle - nice! But I felt that I could possibly be EVEN comfier, so I gave it my best shot....
Max - .....ahhhhhhh! Wonderful! Soooo comfy! How could the humans possibly tell me off when I look this relaxed and this cute......?! Zzzzzzzzzzz.....night night all!

I like your tactics too. Do something you shouldn't, but make your self look adorable while doing it so your hoomans couldn't possibly tell you to stop! :D

What is this "human's furniture" you mention? Obviously you let them share your furniture, but why would you refer to it as theirs? I don't understand.
Oh, perhaps you meant "human-suitable" furniture. That makes much more sense.

Oh, how CLEVER, Max!! My human is really strict about the "no dogs on furniture" rule...but I'll bet if she saw you like that, she wouldn't be able to stick to it!! :-)
