Explanations, awards and some good news!

JD - We'd like to start our blog today with some VERY good news!

Max -
Oliver is out of hospital and is back home! Yay for Oliver!

JD - We're so pleased he's feeling a bit better and we hope he's back to his old self and will be annoying - erm, we mean playing - with Bertie again real soon!

Max - Secondly, we're very excited because we've received a f
ew awards over the past week.

JD - Our female human has been extremely tardy in getting our wonderful achievements posted onto our blog - we've had to have words with her about it!

We sat our female human down and gave her a firm talking to....!

Max - We received the following award from Oskar and Vodka....

JD - It's the 'Proximity Award' - this is a lovely award that states “this blog invests and believes in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time, and relationships!” In other words, “These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

Max - Whew - those are long words!

JD - But what a lovely award! Thank you Vodka and Oskar! We'd like to pass this award onto - Finn, Santa, Stephy, Ally, Fatty, Scotti
e, Hazel, Sophie and Nala.

Max - We've cheated a bit as Stephy, Ally and Fatty all share a blog, as does Scottie, Hazel and Sophie - but wanted each doggie
to know they are individually worthy of this award!

JD - We also received the 'Lovely Blog' award from
Vodka - we're thrilled! We're supposed to pass the award to up to 15 other blogs that we've recently discovered - phew! This was actually too hard for us to decide upon as we think that ALL our bloggie friends deserve it as we love all your blogs.

Max - As we said yesterday it's been great getting to know you all, so we're going to to nominate ALL our readers! So, if you're reading this right now please accept this award from us with our heartfelt thanks for being our friends!

JD - Finally, we'd like to respond to a couple of questions that have been asked over the past week.

Max - Our 'little and large' post had quite a few of you a
sking about our canine mom and daddy.

JD - We know we're growing up into different shapes, but we'd like to answer the questions by saying that we ARE full brothers with the same doggie mom and daddy.

Max - The rest of the litter is the same size as me - JD takes after his daddy and is tall and athletic. I can NEVER catch him when we play zoomies.....sigh!

JD - Finally, after watching the beautiful Sasha make her bone nice and comfy in a recent post we told her that we also do the same wit
h our chew sticks and she mused that it would be nice to see that.

Max - Of course, every whim of the gorgeous Sasha is our command - we're putty in her pretty paws - so here i
s a photo of one of our doggie beds....

JD - ....looks innocent enough doesn't it? But look a little closer....

Max - ....as you'll discover that upon closer inspecti
on....

JD - ....we've tucked in some of our chew bones , nice and comfy, to ensure optimum snugness and therefore optimum taste!

Find out what all the critters are up to at....

Congratulations on those awards !!

LOL ... love the photos, especially the chew bones one..

Sparky doesn't tend to hide his bones, but Meesha does. I find them in all sorts of places. She *buries* them under my pillow, beneath the blankets on the couch, in the laundry basket and any other place that she thinks her brother won't find them. He usually sniff them out though :-)

Great place to keep your things safe!

I know it's hard when we have to talk stenly with our people, but it's the only way to raise them properly.

Congrats on your awards!! And thanks so much for our award!! We will do a special bloggie for it tomorrow!!!

That is some great bone hiding, we hide ours under the sofa, but then we can't get them back and try to dig them out and cry until mummy fishes them out!! BOL ;)
