Mirror-image Monday!

JD - Hi everyone! We're quite excited because we've decided to start playing a little blog game - please join in if you'd like!

Max - It's just for fun, but we also hope that along the way it might introduce you to s
ome great blogs.

JD - We started thinking about this a few weeks ago when we posted 'Brought to you by the letter M!'....

Max - .... - which was in honour of a previous post of the wonderful 'Splorin' Wolfies. Since then we've been noticing that some of the great blog posts have photos that show doggies in similar poses to us...

JD - ....so the basis of our game is to see how many great doggies (or cool cats!) we can look like!

Max - Every Monday - for Mirror-image Monday! - we're going to post a photo of us doing the same sort of thing as another doggie (or cat) and we'll provide a link to their blog and the specific post for you to all go over and have a look at.

JD - We thought it would be fun for everyone to realise how similar
some of us pets can all be at times, no matter what breed we are or how large or small we may be.

Max - Please feel free to play along if you want! It could be a fun way of introducing great blogs to others. We're doing it to honour those whom we greatly admire.

JD - So, for today's post we're going to show a photo of me doing a spot of yoga....

JD practises the 'upside-down-dog' yoga position - being a
beginner at yoga he sometimes needs to prop himself up on Max,
but he really enjoys his daily stretching routine.

Max - ....just like the gorgeous Honey the Great Dane as she demonstrated on her post entitled 'Simon's cat....and things I love' (yoga being item number 2!)

JD - What do you think? A miniature Schnauzer and a Great Dane - two very different doggies - both of us enjoying a spot of lovely and therapeutic stretching!

Max - We hope you enjoyed our first Mirror-image Monday!

JD - And we hope that some of you will play along with us next week! Do
let us know if you're going to and we'll try to include a link to your post on our blog!

Hi Max & JD,

Ooh - I'm so honoured to be chosen as the first in your new game! What a brilliant idea! Yes, we certainly ARE alike - hee! hee! I will try and join in next Monday and find someone that I can "copy" too!

Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
ps.sorry it's taken me so long to comment on this - I'm behind on visiting all my friends because of that nasty thing which happened to us at the park on Monday and my humans have been a bit too flustered with things to take me visiting blogs much!
Am catching up now!
