(Small, muted whisper from JD - Hello everyone! There's a bit of an atmosphere around here today - Max has had a falling out with squeaky chicken! As you can see from these photos they're no longer talking......and neither should I be as it's Wordless Wednesday - oops!!)
Max is just playing hard to get with that chicken. He thinks it's finally time for the chicken to come to him! Oh, by the way, I found out where Kevin is...as of right now, he's on an airplane heading for home. He was in Germany and since that's so far away, he won't be back to see me until tomorrow morning!
From JD and Max's human - the boys were given 'squeaky donut' by my hubby on the weekend - it's a squeaky stuffie. They love it, they've never had a stuffie before! And now Max flatly refuses to play with ANYTHING else - he's already had a few tantrums about it.....!
From JD and Max's human - someone recently left a post on this blog about my boys needing to smile more. I'm aware that they don't 'grin' like a lot of dogs, but we live in a cold climate so they don't go around with their mouths open and their tongues hanging out, therefore don't tend to look as 'smiley' as dogs from warmer places.
I would like to comment that I would appreciate only kind comments on this blog please - if you don't have anything nice to say simply move on by. I adore my boys the way they are and do not appreciate anyone critisising them - they're very happy and I am upset by any suggestion that they are not. I am sure everyone reading this blog feels the same way about their pets and would not appreciate negative comments being left on their blog either. Thank you.
I feel very bad as it was definetly not intended to offend...I am very sorry that my choice of words did this...PLEASE ACCEPT my apologies..
there was absolutely no intent to leave a "negative" comment...I honestly in my thoughts...thought it was a "playful" comment in knowing my own dog looks this way at times...
Hi - thanks for the feedback. I suppose I'm a bit sensitive to comments about my boys looking unhappy as it's something I worry about as a newbie dog owner. I too would like to get a snap of them smiling but living in a cold damp climate (coupled with me being a fairly rubbish photographer) means it's highly unlikely - sigh! I've obviously been as grumpy as they look, so it's time time I un-grumped! Let's all be friends and spread the love!

Oh guys, Gus & his person are very good people. If they hurt your feelings, I'm sure they did not mean to at all!!!
